Dennis is so cute! I was having a hard time placing the species, the first thought was baby lion
One thing I will note, having taken about 5 million and a half pictures of my cat: I think the reason his eyes are half closed is the pre-flash sent out for flash metering. For best wide-eyed pics of your cats, use FV lock on the camera, if your camera has that. Cats are extremely fast and sensitive to that pulse of light, and the pre-flash is a big reason cats have that annoyed, murderous look, that makes for very funny and cute pictures and icanhascheezburger captions, but is not how they usually look.
Of course, that may be Dennis' natural look, in which case ignore the paragraph above.

Thanks for the tips rocdoc, I will try that in the future. Dennis has gorgeous blue eyes that don't show in these pics, so that's unfortunate... but it was a totally impromtu situation I just wanted to capture. I was actually cooking T-giving dinner and ran off to grab the camera...
