I can like, respect what you were trying to do, but like, I just don't think it worked out this time.

    Trenton....try to control the "likes"...

I think this is kinda neat, but it looks like certain colours are clipping into others and it ruined the effect.

I knew someone was gonna mention my use of 'like'.

Well what's the context? The image doesn't really communicate itself well, all we know is that it's an image of a can of dr. pepper with some funky color adjustments. We don't know the point of it. Why did you shoot a picture of a can of Dr. Pepper? Why did you adjust the color like you did? It makes no sense.

All you did was post a heavily modified image with no explanation and left literally all the interpretation to the viewer, and the only thing you said about it was:

Which in itself leaves everyone in the dark. We, the viewers don't know what it means, or what it's purpose is, and you (seemingly) don't' get anything out of it besides thinking you failed.

As is, it's a lose-lose. Please explicate your image, I'm interested as to what your thought process was here.

From a purely technical viewpoint, the over-saturation has caused clipping in the colors. Clipping is when there is just too much color for the data in the picture and detail is lost, or colors become blotchy.

What I was going for was pop art meets nature. the Dr Pepper can is in a stream of water that was full of algie and stuff. This is the original:

Kinda reminds me of a Warhol. The clipping doesn't bother me that much. The concept is interesting. I'm not so sure this is a loss but I would think that it needs explanation.
Either I really liked the shot or it's just this hash speaking...
