Here is how I see it: the 2 persons makes this a good photo. You placed them very well in the frame, i.e. in such way it suggests they are charmed by the landscape. The lake, the mountain and, specially, the sky reflected in the lake describe this tranquil nature.

i think its an exposure thing. its not balanced i think. maybe its better in color.

i was really just trying to capture a moment where they were enjoying the scenery, like u said, valDR.
but ya, there's something not quite right about it, perhaps the colour thing :p
