    Another try, any improvement?

I think I stopped down too much, but it was really bright and sunny!

    CC always appreciated.

I think you are right about stopping down too much but it is a nice shot none the less.Did you shoot in raw format? You might be able to warm it up a little by playing with the white balance.

Thank you. I hope to be able to get a tripod in the future, so they don't need to be handheld, same with getting some filters. But for the moment, this kind will have to do.

    This was taken handheld?
    Wow. Good one!
And I like that the whites did not turn out over-exposed!
All the small-aperture-long-exposure ones I tried to take while on vacation in the Austrian Alpes showed too many signs of camera shake, but then I just COULD NOT BE BOTHERED with hauling my tripod up the mountains when we went hiking. So I simply tried to get blurred-waterfall-shots - and failed...

nice photo considering it's hand held.. when i go up in the hills etc and don't want to take a tripod i usually take a couple of small custom made bean bags that fit into my backpack, Gives the camera something to sit still on and usually use the remote shutter release to fire off

    cheers
