Lake Coeur D'Alene - Infrared Effect

    Hi all,

I went for an infrared effect on this photo that I took of Lake Coeur D'Alene in Idaho last August. What do you think?

I'm not completely sure that it's infrared, but it is definitely beautiful! The soft, glowing effect works very well with the tranquility of the scene

Thank you. the infrared action i used in photoshop didn't simulate the real thing very well, but I liked it anyway

I agree that it's not quite IR but I really do like it as well!

Cool picture, maybe a little too diffused. Not IR though. This is an IR image I found on Google.

I realize you were just going for the effect here but I have to point out this site, I know this guy from a car forum and hes got some really nice IR shots.
