    wink New Rose Bud

After two months of a record mild winter in North Texas, we've had two nights of sub-freezing temperatures. Despite the odds, our Shrub Rose Bush continues to push forth its new buds for 2006.

Keeps pushing forth... I chopped down my sickly looking rose bush last year and it's already 3 feet high. Maybe this season it will look better. Although I wasn't intending for it to come back. I too live in N. Texas. Lewisville, actually. I really like your photo.

Wonderful. Quite quite promising. Don't forget to also take and post the follow-up pictures! One per day, maybe?

. . . Is my command. Here's the rose bud of just two days ago in full bloom. I threw in the bee as an extra treat.
