took this shot friday night as some rain was moving accross a distant valley giving an orange color. then with a little tweeking of the colors i came up with this.

That is ONE amazingly coloured sky. Very, very beautiful.
Next to the stretch of orange right above the horizon, I am as intrigued by the purples in the clouds. How much tweaking was involved to bring this out ... I take it, it was actually there, only not quite as present in the right-off-the-camera-version?

it really wasnt alot, most of the colors where there just not as bright. i added a few percent in the reds and blues to make them pop some more. It was a very interesting sky which was why i stoped to take the pic.
