I like the texture in 3 alot.
Sweet shots! I really love the lighting in the first two but I have to say the 3rd is my favourite, I the mangled texture it has.

That title you chose makes me so sad
But your photos don't.
So has the snow came to you at last?
No green left PLUS snow is a situation I can live with. That is the way it should be. Here there's no green left and there is no snow, either. Now that is DULL and BOREDOM in its most genuine form!
But hey, you looked for SOME green (for me, didn't you? Just for me, eh?), and I much appreciate that

I like the close-up on the dead leaves (it reminds me of a photo I took back in November or late October, to be seen here - Photo 4) and the "natural chaos" of all the snow covered tree branches in your #3 here.
Are those snow covered logs the same as you presented in their moss coats the other day?
#2 is totally killer! Nice shots.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Lafoto, remember I said our green shots were causing a cycle of inspiration, so I thought I could still find some. I was really hoping for some mossy logs with snow and moss showing. No luck though, they were completely covered, so no they are not part of this series.
Love your shots but, your sure not helping with me trying not to put that lens on my credit card.![]()

Unless you have lived with this kind of life, you will never truly understand or appreciate who I am, we are or what our job really means to us-I wish you could though. And when you start to say "No one makes you do that." Stop and think where this world would be if everyone had that attitude.
Pray for us and whoever needs us.
#3 is my favorite. I like the chaotic texture, with the bigger branches boldly stroking across. I noticed as I was scrolling that I liked it even better with the snowy ground at the bottom cropped off, like the frame was entirely filled with branches. It might be very effective cropped to a square or 4:5 ratio (keeping the top part).
I think #2 has some potential, but the out of focus branches are too prominent in the foreground (bottom edge). The softness distracts me from all the sharp, thin lines elsewhere.
