Another vote for #1 and #2. I love how you can see the sun rays in both and I really like the light on the cattails.

Thanks everyone.
Tips about B&W conversion.... well it's a matter of personal taste.
I do it different every time, but usually it works with playing with individual colours curves and then monochroming via channel mixer between red and blue. Then dodging and burning if I feel the need.
I have no set way of converting.___________________________________________

I just the same as trying to replicate the effects of different filters in B&W photography.
The sky in these shots look like they could have been taken using an orange filter.
Burn and dodge are your friend aswell.
When used properly.... anyway
I'm actually starting to get good at burning and dodging in the darkroom aswell, so I guess thats giving me extra understanding.___________________________________________
