A photo of one of my dad's ornamental pheasants... I think this is one of my favorites. Any and all critique is welcome... I am here to learn.

    Hi Danielle,
A great looking bird. Just beautifully. If I were to find any fault, it would be a little lost highlights on the birds head and under it's eye and the background looks a little too artificial and can be a little distracting. Comp is good, and it is a great looking bird with a lot of character.
    As always, JMHO.

Thank you for the comment. The background looks a bit artificial because I accidentally saved it to GIF instead of JPEG, which I prefer. Thanks again for the critique. More comments are welcome.

Danielle, what a lovely bird. All the earth colours both in the bird's feathers as well as the surroundings are pleasing to look at. Sharpness is good on the feathers.

I moved your post to Landscape and Nature since you are getting the kind of general critique you're looking for also here, outside The Critique Forum, which is somewhat more special.
