Is a Lensbaby for me?
I recently went to the lensbaby website, and I really am thinking about looking into getting one... I just have a few questions...
What exactly does a lensbaby do, and how does it work? You can see how it changes a photo, but what are the benefits of it?
What are some pros and cons of using a lensbaby?
I think it would be nice to have one, but only if I really understand what exactly it is and does! haha

It keeps one part of the image in focus, and throws the other parts way out of focus. Its cool, but many think a waste because you can do that in PP aswell.

It's for selective focus sort-of-similar to a tilt or swing movement.

One of my friends did this with a heart shaped aperture on a lensbaby. He was trying to get this shot for over an hour, the heart-shaped bokeh is from white Christmas lights we spread around her.

I like to think that a lensbaby isn't for anyone. But I suppose if you really wanted it and could find a use for it, then it is.
