It’s a low-end tilt shift lens (mostly tilt). I’m sure that’s not much help. Simply put in basic terms. With a regular lens the light rays travel thru the lens symmetrically so the focus is even. With the Lens Babies and other tilt shift lens when you bend or tilt the front of the lens the light rays no longer travel symmetrically and the focus with not be even.

Also, you can control a select depth of field, though it is not based on distance like on a normal lens.

I'm looking into buying a Lensbaby and I've been looking at prices. For the Lensbaby 3G, which is the most recent, the best price I've found on the internet is $270. For the Lensbaby 2.0 it's about $150. Quite a cheap lens.

Oh girl, lensbaby make creative effects lenses for canon, nikon, Sony, Olympus and others. I just google it. lol But I heard it before at my friends. I'm also curious about it but then, they explain it to me.
