Questions. Differences and metering flashes
I've always used print, but are there any advantages to slide? and I guess in the sake of not making another thread: How would one go about metering flashes on a medium format? I use 2 sb-26's quite often on my digi but thats pretty easy to do. Is it different for MF? (I would probobly have to keep the shutter above like 100 so I can stop the action) And: On my digi the max shutter speed it can go with flashes is 250 but on my Bronica ETRs can it go higher? I would just like to know this before i go out and try it and get back blank negs.
Thanks-Noah

The ETRS will sync at any shutter speed including 1/500. This is
usually the case with leaf shutter cameras.
Generally speaking, with flash photography, shutter speed is not really
a factor in exposure unless you are combining ambient light with
flash. Flash exposure alone depends on distance (flash to subject) and
aperture. These two variables are used along with the flash guide number
to determine exposure. To make it simpler, that is, to avoid the calculations,
you can use a flash meter which will tell you the proper aperture to use for
correct exposure.
Slide film has less exposure latitude (is less forgiving) than print film which
means it's more important to get the exposure correct with slide film.
