4x5 sheet film in an old Polaroid?

I read on a website (I believe it was The Land List?) about shooting one sheet of 4x5 sheet film at a time in old Polaroid rollfilm cameras.

Has anyone tried this? I think it would be a good way to get use out of my 850 Electric Eye and I could practice developing the film on my own.

Shooting paper would be better for a down and dirty test like that. Paper is cheaper and you can handle it under safelight conditions. Easier to scan to. You just need a plain old flatbed without a backlight.
