I spend too much of my life on TPF!
Another RB question
Sorry, still figuring things out.
As for bellows exposure compensation according to the scale on the side of the bellows it's either .5 or 1 stop compensation. Now my C330 has a similar minimum focus distance (comparing 90mm lens on RB to 80mm on C330), and at the same distance the C330 is telling me much more compensation... 2.5 stops. It seems the extension in both cases is similar, is 1 stop really all I would need at max extension with the 90mm lens on the RB?
I have generally had good results trusting the compensation needle with the 330.

Yup that's all you need. Maybe someone can explain it better, prehaps add in some technical jargon.
It has to do with how much light is reaching the film and the size of the image field. An RB is allowing lots more light than the C330, just take a look at the size of the glass?
Anyone can make a digital print, but only a photographer can make a photograph.

Ah that makes some sense, thanks. Doesn't make sense that it would be wrong of course (and they would be manufactured for 30+ years that way...), but I couldn't figure out an explanation.
