Last roll of film that I had shot competely was 2 weeks ago. And while it was 2 rolls, it wasn't much other than my son's birthday party, some paltry attempts of action shots at a skate-board park and some taken along the Red River.

There is a friend who's given me a photo assignment basically, but that is going slowly since I'd fired some test shots in both the Olympus PC and the Minolta HTsi cameras, using the 400-speed color negative B&W film from Kodak in the former.

Just received a very nasty e-mail within the last couple of hours. It was the gentleman which was selling (had sold) the Nikon D70. They contacted me out of the blue after ignoring the e-mail for days, apparently trying to hock their computer wares.

Explained to them that I wouldn't buy from someone that neglected to respond to my missives. They said they had an offer entire of cash which they took... assuming I was trying to trade them a bad Acer LCD 19" flat panel monitor...

I took photos of three different people in the last roll. One of them was in two frames. I didn't really "think" about pushing the shutter release button. Not sure if it was an overactive jerk or instinctive reflexive press that captured the much better "sneaky" shot of the surprised subject.

Just used the built in flash, because I wanted to take the photos without setting up the time. Was in a bar where I deal cards for free Texas Hold'em. The second shot had...

Any time I get a roll of film developed, a friend who is retired seems to enjoy looking over my various levels of success in snapping shots. Last week, after taking some prints for him to view that were taken with the Rebel K2, he stated he had a project for me.

He knew I would be intrigued and back over to his house within a day or two. He went further to describe what he was seeking. Instead of a headboard for a bed upstairs, he wants to put a customized picture frame with 8"x10"...

The extra cash on hand was going to be given with an 19" LCD computer display, in hopes of getting a Nikon D70. It looks like I had slept through the chance to actually get it. Which royally sucks.

While still eyeballing the Canon A2's on eBay, the computer stuff that I'm seeing on Craigslist is rather attractive. There never seems to be enough of the right items to put all these computer parts together. Have a P4 chip and 775 motherboard but only a 300W power supply to use......
