    Oversharp insect?

Well I think I am getting a little more used to redynamizer, though I still can't get along with its clarify feature - seems to me to add way too much noise to a shot and also more grainyness to areas of the shot - I wonder because it seems to work fine with my non-macro as opposed to my macro shots - if this is something to do with my method of shooting macro over shooting normal?

well here is the shot along with a 100% crop - any help appreciated, I have the origianl and my edit (photoshop file) which I can e-mail to any interested in helping - thanks:

Taken with Canon 400D, sigma 150mm macro, 1.4 teleconverter, speedlite 580M2 and softbox

    f14, ISO 200, 1/200sec hand held

    100% crop

any comments/crits welcome - thank you

That's so cool, I miss my Macro, sold it to fund telephoto purchase. I love how alien insects look up close.

I like the first one better, too much blue in the second.

    Cool image!

    What are you using?
    http://www.mediachance.com/plugins/redynamix.html <-- This?
    http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html <-- or this?

    Or a different one?

The first one - just the false HDR effect - though looking at the latter it seems to also support false HDR creation. So far I am of two minds with the program and I think more experimentation is needed to get the desired results - although I am tempted by its editing features.
