Cold COld COLd COLD
Taken with Vivitar 400mm on Canon EF, ASA 800

Bigger here
Thing of it is....it really was cold, the lubricant in my focusing ring was so stiff from the cold I had to focus this with my shoulder muscle, I did not have the strengh in my forearm much less my finger tips to move it. Even then it took some effort.

I can't say as that I blame him. I had been out side for less than fifteen minuets and my hands and feet where going numb threw good gloves, socks and boots. The birds behaivior was what I found worth it to stop my dead run for home. He was literally hopping around from one foot to the other like the guy who runs out for the news paper in his boxers in the dead of winter in bare feet doing that gradual raising of their voice saying that it is cold as he runs. When you got to eat, ya gotta eat. Brave the cold little guy.
