    Meerkat watchman

Don't think these have been shown yet (Barring one) so here are some shots of a meerkat stading watch for the rest of the pack. Chances are I was using my polariser as well on an overcast day (I was playing) though I really can't remember if I was or wasn't at this point - still it was a darker day for shooting, hence ISO 400
All taken in Marwell Zoo with a canon 400D, canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS, 1.4 teleconverter

    f4, ISO 400, 1/200sec

did some editing again - added a contrast mask to the meerkat (And some bad cloneing on one shot - the idea is sound but the methodology needs a bit of work from me:
    new examples:
I would be interested on feedback with regard to if I have improved the shots or not

They all seem over processed to me?

can you say in what way by chance? Its tricky for me to see overprocessing in them (though I admit they might look processed)
at least I don't think I have gone too processing mad, but its tricky (one can get blind to it in their own work at times)

I don't see overprocessed at all. I think they look great (although I'll admit...I really don't see a difference between the first and second sets). I love the framing and very, very sharp shots. I like em.

I don't see overprocessed, either. I think it's always neat when a photographer gets you this close to an animal that you will never get this close to.. I like them for that reason.
