Hey nice job catching this guy in action. He makes for a very interesting subject!

The first one is too dark

when i saw the second, i went, Wow!

then the third was better yet, though I wish you had gotten all of his wings in it.

then the fourth was even better, but again, i wished you had gotten all of his wings

seven is good because of his beak is open, which is cool, good job

and then it looked like he spotted you in number eight haha.

overall, very good set, and congrats

thanks so much for the thoughtful comments! I really wish I'd gotten the wings entirely in the shot also. I may try again as he has been having his lunch in my front yard daily for the last two weeks or so.
