    Little Fawn

I came across this little baby - his mother parked him about five feet from the trail.

Very nice clear shot. I love the browns and greens as well as the sharpness. Looks like she is pretty timid in that second shot, trying to hide behind those leaves. I hope mommy comes back.

Very nice shots. That second one is adorable. Just the eye peeking through adds so much more to the photo, IMO, than the full on "show everything" shot.

Very nice shot! I also like no.2 the best. Love the colors and the details.

good eyes on you for spotting the little guy in the bush - and great shooting!
Good exposures and also a very creative eye used as well - my only crit is that it would have been nice to have had a little more light on the left side of the first shot, but its not something that you had control over so I can't blame you for it.

    Thanks!

I also like the second one, the first one is the only one where I got both of his ears. They were impossibly large and did not easily fit into the shot and still have okay composition. (I think the second one gives more feeling for how he is trying to hide himself.)

Baby deer are some of the most b-u-t-ful little animals. I would have been so excited if i were you. Nice pics. Now lighten up the side of his cute little face in #1 and frame it for your home.
