Eel - every year I see at least 1 small bird hopping around the yard with a giant bird following it to be fed. So I looked into it this year. Appears that Cowbirds put their eggs in the nests of others. Guess we wouldn't notice so much if they happen to find the nest of a larger bird. But boy o boy, I feel so bad for the the little ones working their tails off to feed the babies.
