    THE OWL LOOK!

Nothing gives you a look like an owl does! Came across this beautiful great horned owl in a city park,, shot with a Canon 20D
    and a 100-400mm lens.

Awesome eyes! I love owls. I took some photos of one while in Front Royal, VA, but I only had my 17-85mm lens so it wasn't anywhere near post worthy.

Very nice shots indeed. I personally like the last one the best because I think the tree frames the owl nicely and give that effect of how its nestled in the tree. I also think the color and lighting is the best in this shot. Finally great sharpness!

Also just out of curiosity, are you a welder AND a photographer?

Thanks for the comments folks,, its tough to get a shoot alley on these guys nestled in a spruce tree, I was lucky enough on that last shot to be able to frame him. Erm yes I,m a welder,, and I take photographs, not sure if that makes me a photographer!
