    sillysmi black bear cubs.

    we live in an area that is filled with black bears, just like cows.
    first day i took our my new camera... annnnd...
    we walked up on a mama bear and cubs, the cubs ran up the tree next to us, and mama bear went elsewhere. so i snapped some shots before she decided to come back and chase us off! I was standing right under them for this shot

    Canon 550D[T2i]
    70-300mm USM handheld on "auto"

    I had just gotten my camera, and hadn't even had time to mess around with everything and learn the ins and outs... hopefully this picture is decent though.

    and this bear was definitely watching us. sorry it's so dark, tried not use flash as to not spool em off!

    Yes, there certainly are a lot of bears up there. I love the shot of the cubs in the tree, well done.
