A couple bucks from local forest preserve

Haven't been out shooting anything for awhile so took a short ride to the local forest preserve which is teeming with deer.

That first guy is pretty nice and in his prime, even for late in winter. That second one is getting up in years with the "Roman Nose" look, spindly antlers, and greying of the face.

Keep going back, won't be long before you might find those antlers on the ground when they shed them.

Thanks guys. Tony, the only antlers I've found in the forest preserves are very small ones. I would assume the larger ones are being found by others. I have in years past seen antlers that have been chewed on I would guess by squirrels.

    Nice buck!
I used to take photos like you. And then I took an arrow to the knee.
