    Grand Canyon wildlife

    My wife and I went to the Grand Canyon a couple of weeks back. Still working my way through all the photos I took, but here is one I have gotten to so far:

    Nicely composed. the strong directional lighting is most evident coming from the right. Have you tried to correct it some in Post?

    yeah I tried. unfortunately no clouds in the sky with a bird in a tree is a very tough condition to get everything to expose properly. I'm sure some fill flash would have benefited me most, but I was unprepared.

    He looks delicious doesn't he. Fortunately for him, hunting is not allowed at the grand canyon. I was probably standing about 10 feet away from this guy. He was very tame.
