    Answer my riddles three

Found this guy gaurding the bridge this morning. I liked the pattern of the deckboards and the washed out color of them that brought out the reds in the squirrel. I was shooting zoomed further in, but actually backed it out a little to be able to put him in the corner a little better. I think I like it.

Let me know what you think.

I like it - I think you have made good use of negative space as well, by gradually having the boardwalk fade out of focus. It is a nice simple image with a very sharply focused subject.

Although I see the wooden boards are straight on the bottom edge, they aren't quite straight along the top edge. It's probably due to the perspective, but I think the image would be greatly improved if you used the Warp tool in PS just to straighten that out. Apart from that, it's nice and sharp!

The bridge is actually warped, so there's no perspective about it. That's really the way it lies. I think software is my next upgrade. I have Elements 2 and a version of Photoshop from when I was in college, so it's probably 12-13 years old. I could do an upgrade either way, but am working with a tight budget, so I'm debating. I need to download a trial of Elements and see if it's going to do what I want. I guess this will be the first test for it.
