Lenses for jewelry - 60mm 2.8D??
Hi
I current use a Nikon 50mm 1.8D lens to photograph jewelry. However, images don't seem to have enough bokeh and the detail (diamonds) are not sharp! To solve this problem I am thinking of buying a nikon 60mm 2.8D lens in advance of an upcoming wedding. From what I have read the 1:1 ratio of this lens means that I can fill the frame with the rings and the bokeh will look amazing.
Can anyone help me?

I use a Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro for jewelry product shots. I've been quite happy with it. (in regards to focal length)
