help for a beginner with a nikon f70 35mm

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and to photography in general. I have just bought a nikon f70 35mm- it was an ebay bargain and, seeing as I've been talking about taking up photography for ages, I went straight for it.

I have the camera body but no lenses: could anyone help me chose an appropriate lens to get started and maybe a useful manual on black and white manual photography for complete beginners that could help me get started?
