D40 photo problems
hi , just purchased a D40 and it works well indoors, outdoors the photo's are extremely dark almost illegible....any ideas?

that's unusual, what settings are you using for Mode and Metering?

A bit more info would help. Do you change any settings when you venture outdoors?

Better still, post a couple of pictures, both the indoor and outdoor shots, ensuring that the EXIF data is left intact.
