HELP! Nikon D5100 Equipment Needs! Suggestions
Basically I need some help.
I have a NIKON D5100.
I was looking for a flash for a good ranging price.
A wide angle lens. and a
Battery Grip for the Nikon d5100.
I would really appreciate some suggestions.
And where to get them. Thanks.

Budget? A good wide angle lens is going to be pricey. Battery grips - Nikon doesn't make any for the d5100. I'm sure there are some cheap ones out there but I wouldn't use them. Flash - sb700 Around 350.00 - amazon. I'm sure if you do some research you can find some cheaper flashes that will work

I like the Buttons on the SB700 (vs SB600) but it is pricey for me. Have seen a few SB600's here at TPF for $180-$200 recently but they don't last very long. Have seen a couple third-party wide angle lenses here for $300ish. Tokina 11-16 is the most popular (but not for sale as often) in the $600 range used. You might find one new at Adorama, Amazon or B&H.

Alright Ill be sure to do some researching, I didnt really care on what type of brand battery grip as long as it works. Ill check out the sb700. My budget was around 150-250. Thanks for your help.
I'll be sure to check em out, I didnt really care for the buttons if it really mattered. I just wanted a good Flash. And what other lenses would you recommend for the nikon d5100? Thanks for your help also.

If you need a longer lens there is a nice 70-300 VR in the buy and sell section. The thread is "Nikon Goodies For Sale" and the seller is jritz. He is good to deal with.
I have a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 for sale if you need a sharp mid zoom with good low light performance. I'm trying to sell it locally first.
Have Fun, Mick
