Greetings! D5100 user

Hey, First time on the PhotoForum. I recently got a Nikon d5100 and am still learning how to use it and what not. I have become very addicted to this thing. I like taking street shots and candids of friends and family. My goal is to become professional at some point in my life. I see people on facebook posting amature looking pictures all the time and they put their logo on the bottom (_____ Photography). It gets me pretty annoyed and makes me wonder, did someone actually pay for this?

Anyway, just introducing myself lol... any advise would be nice..

Ok. The way you used it, it's advice (noun), not advise (verb).
