"The artist with the camera" - Congratulations

There are a few words that I'll have to Leo, but it certainly reads good.
...and the view of the Earth, it was the only... the only place in the whole universe that had any color. Everything else was black and white!

"to Leo" ... as a verb --- too funny
But that's what we do, don't we?
    We "leo"!

    Thanks for looking.

    Ich leoe
    Du leost
    er/sie/es leot
    Sie leoen
    Wir leoen
    Ihr leot

I think that works but I always have problems with "Ihr" form - vary rarely use it

Mostly for my practice, but it may help others, here's a translation

    The Artist with the Camera

The residents of Hempfhöfen and Hempfhöfen apartments were inivited to a private viewing. The Lauenbrücker hobby photographer Corinna Schleiffer had brought with her, and exhibited her photographs from the series "Wassertropfen" (Water drops). Many guests had appeared in foyer of the Hempfhöfen apartements for the grand opening. The opening was also musically accompanied by Johanna Weigle (Flute) and Karl-Heinz Vorssmeier (Piano) to the surprise of those present. After a small champagne reception the head of the institute introduced the "Artist with the camera" in her welcoming speech. It's no wonder that, at the age of 13 Corinna Schleiffer had already received her first camera, Her father, uncle and also her sister had work as semi professional photographers. Over the decades the cameras have of course changed and also the motives. The series "Wassertropfen" developed in her kitchen from the main subject - the dripping tap. Those present listened with fascination to the story of the development of these striking, extraordinary and colourful photographs. In a final question and answer session the artist took the suggestion to experiment with portrats of seniors. The private viewing ended with music in the Hempfhöphen apartments. Who themselves would like to view these exceptional images can apply to Susanne Schenk-Nekarda telephone ****/*******

Of course not being a native german speaker I may have made some mistakes, but I think it's mostly correct

Hey, you did really really well here, Slaphead. Thanks for translating it for me, I could have translated it myself but was a tad too lazy for it ... so someone did it for me. Cool!

(So, Tony, no prize - as in "big money" or so ).

I'm glad Slaphead translated. I was going to say though, that any photo in the newspaper without a height chart background and a police booking number under it, usually indicates a good thing. Congrats!
