Well.. me and wife used to have this disagreement all the time but it finally stopped. I basically have not touched my paycheck from main job for a while. I use money I earned from photography now to buy stuff. She is now demanding most of the money I earn from photography LMAO.

Girl, I like that you don't have AIDS, and that you covered the rent when I don't get paid. The dinner that you simmer-sauté'd made it so I haven't been to Taco Bell in like DAYS.

it is ok tyler. That was the plan in the beginning, to bring additional income. She even let me shoot that boudoir session.. cant complain. I am addicted to buying stuff. I am pretty happy with what I have though. I dont need to spend more and more stuff.

That's awesome she let you. I wonder how the conversation will go for myself later down the road when I want to attempt that .

Dude, I thought you were going to use that money to bust into the Meth production business... You know, like Breaking Bad?

Yes, pretty much addicted. The same thing happens to me with music equipment... I get really psyched over genius engineering that helps me make art. It's like the best thing to come out of our crazy technological capitalist society, self expression never had it so good.

For months I was casually shopping and trying to figure out which prime I wanted to get that would be a little wider than my 35, but I was planning on waiting a while. And then Canon decided to put a bunch of L glass on sale.... so, you can imagine how that ended up.
    60d, Tokina 11-16 2.8, Canon 24 1.4L II, Zeiss 35 1.4 Distagon, Zeiss 50 2.0 Makro-Planar, Canon 85 1.8, Yashica DX 135 2.8, flashy stuff, filtery stuff
