Photography - art imitates life
I think it's a shame that mods have to censor threads because of the inappropriate statements of other members. I'm referring to Riccardo's colorful thread. I understand the mods have to prevent things from getting out of hand, it's just a shame that those members who didn't appreciate the sport that was captured have to interject their personal beliefs and have a thread closed. I mean really, there was nothing posted by the OP that was the least bit gorey or inhumane. It was a bullfighter in costume.
To me, those that censor are the worst of villains. I detest censorship. I may not like what you do, may not believe what you do but I (hopefully) never shut you down for a difference in opinion. I hope those "photographers" who felt it necessary to negatively comment and cause the thread closure consider the consequences ... Or perhaps the only imagery safe will be baby and puppy pictures?
Grow up.
