My Turn :)
I am fondling my brand new D70s waiting for the battery to charge up.
I decided to start with the essentials for now:
Body
18-70 kit lens
1GB 80x card
UV filter
This weekend I am searching for a new bag for it and already am eyeballing the 70-300 Nikon lens but will wait a while I think. I want to get a good feel for this lens first. I also have a second battery on the list since practically everyone has said they reccomend it but that will wait too until I see what kind of life I get out of the one.

Congrats!
...but I must say...I have never met anyone, not a single person, who was completely satisfied with the 70-300 lens. Go to eBay and search for the nikkor 75-300 4.5/5.6. I have never met anyone who was unhappy with that one.
