    I'm cold.

Yesterday I was in Houston, walking around in jeans and a t-shirt.

I arrived in Chicago last night to 25 mph gusts of wind and rain. Still raining today, and the next three days it's supposed to snow.

    I'm not a happy camper.

Well up here...we need gloves just to walk out to the vehicle. And forget about licking any metal fence poles...you tongue will just get stuck to it.
There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.

See, I couldn't live there then....I just can't kick my daily fence pole licking habit.

Yahoo! weather says we have 70, but it feels warmer, I'd say 75 at least.

so let me get this right, yesterday you were wearing jeans and a t-shirt and you were warm.
Today you are cold so I deduct from your statement that you must be naked, therefore put said jeans and t-shirt on and instant warmness. Easy when you know how.

    Wow... corry that's weird.
I was just looking in the paper with a lady I work with yesterday and we noted that Chicago was the coldest place in the list of places. It was -4!!!! And windy!! and Mawson's Base on antarctica was +1! How insane is that.

I should add - Those are celsius

Here is Brisbane it's getting hot - 30 degrees C.... and getting more humid too. :-(

Hard to believe that this is a very 'mild' winter here in Chicagoland, isn't it?

The only snow we got was the 1st of December, and it was gone within a week or two, and it's been ugly brown/yellow/green out ever since.

Frankly .... now that the holidays are over, I would prefer the sun and warmth to envelope us.

    Enjoy your time in Chicago.

Yes, how it is up there with the -42C windchill? Luckily we missed most of it - but it still equated to a 'windchill day' with no complaints from my fellow classmates.
