Yay! At last!
The Meet-Up Thread is up .... you DID take your time.
Thanks Fangman for starting it. Now at long last I've got the thread to sticky that I had wanted to sticky since Saturday!

How could I refuse you?
It was great meeting all the folks before I fall off my perch - they all seemed so young. They missed having you organising them, but a wonderful time was spent picnicing on the banks of Rutland Water, being dazzled by the sunlight off Tangerini's smile.

Chatting up the natives!

Full Steam Ahead.

Not quite Artic, but an Islandic escaping poppy being attacked.
I try and learn something every day - but rarely succeed!

I much doubt THAT!
I begin to miss seeing your photos, not the ones you took (I'm very happy that you're showing so many here!), but those that others took of you! (Before you "fall off your perch" ...
).
Oh, and by the way: I think you got "our Arabian Knight" and Tony (tempra) mixed up in one of your captions in the first post...

Wow, cool, nice to see some photos from the meetup
Looks like they had nice weather as well (which is quite something, considering this is England we are talking about
)

Yes, we saw the English summer through from start to finish - it was on a Sunday this year...

Been spending a lot of time on here!
Well, if that was summer it was a good way to spend it! Thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone!

Yes, giving the Penguin Queen the traditional salute.

The two butt salute making a change from the ususal two digits . . . Possibly Albino Mute Penguins swanning around in British waterways.
