All the cool people were in Boston this weekend, where were you?!

Okay, since I'm home first I guess I get to kick of this thread....the key players in this meetup were myself, Corry (Core_17), Joe (ClarinetJWD) and Sky (Unimaxium)....and introducing Chris (Pigeon Chaser). It was cold, we got lost, we had fun. That should sum it up

    1. Chris (my oldest son) waiting for the train to Boston

    2. On the train, eating a candy bar bought with money from the grandparents

    3. Are we there yet? No Chris, this is only the 2nd stop

    4. Ticket to ride

    5. Gravesite of Paul Revere

    6. Corry, Joe & Sky

    7. A little story....Chris was running around saying "I'm a bird, I'm a bird" and I said, "Hey Chris, birds don't talk!" And this was the look I got

    8. How many chimpers can you count?

    9. Chris and the pigeons/seagulls. Oh my. All he wanted to do was chase them...I'm sure the others captured this as well...

    10. Two men, a boy and a tripod

    10a. In black & white

    11. Is this a mugging in process? Nope, just Corry and Joe doing....I'm not sure

    12. City Hall

    13. What?! Geez Mom.

    14. View of the city from inside part of the Holocaust memorial

    15. Bricks outside...um...somewhere

    16. One in every crowd

    17. Joe laughing at Chris

    18. Chris laughing at Joe

    19. No explanation needed

    20. Marketplace lights

    21. Laughing about pigeons

    22. More lights

    23. Looking up

    24. Pretty brickwork

    25. For the Darksiders

    26. Legal Sea Food.

    27. Apartments

    28. What's a TPF meetup without getting lost?

    29. The map was good, lack of street signs in Boston was bad

    30. More pigeon chasing....and this glove is now missing

    31. A very happy boy

    32. Only in Boston do you wear a winter hat and eat ice cream

    33. The "I don't want to go home" pout

    34. MMMMMMMMM

    35. A little something for Mom to help make it the 2 hours home

Boston was a lot of fun. Here are some of my pictures. I am almost 7.

    1. At the train station

    2. More from the station

    3. A very tall building

    4. I liked this building

    5. A bus (Mom wouldn't let me ride it )

    6. Looking up in the Holocaust memorial

    7. Look! A pigeon!

    8. I didn't know my sister had a store named after her!

    9. A horse! (Mom didn't let me ride on this, either )

    10. Joe & Sky

    11. A building I liked

    12. The sky, not the person Sky, but the real sky.

    13. A trolly....and you guessed it, I didn't go on this, either

    14. IMAX....You think Mom let me go? NO!

Thank you for looking at my pictures. It was fun in Boston even though Mom didn't let me do anything

These are awesome, it looked like Chris had a good time with the birds...

Alison, great work and very interesting commentary. It very much reminds me of our trip to Boston last year and how much we want to go back. Getting lost sounds very familiar. We had dinner in the Quincey Market area, Green Dragon, if I remember right. Then we walked across a hugh open street area under construction and into the area where the Paul Revere house is. Great architecture and neighbourhood to walk around. We were lucky as we had a local showing us around at that point.

Looking forward to seeing more from everyone.

Yippieh: the Boston Meet-Up thread has begun ... aaaaaand TPF has a new member and the world a new - pigeon chasing - photographer. Budding still but already very promising.

So who wrote the story, is it all our little Pigeon Chaser's own words here!? Whatever, these are his very own photos and he is GOOD.

    All the pics are good.
But it looks COLD ... brrr!

Awww! Great pictures! A few of them don't seem to be working though, Alison.

I think our lil' Pigeon Chaser did a great job, too!

    I didn't notice any that weren't working...

Great photos and captions...I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the shots.

It was about 5 or 6 of them, but now all but 10 and 25 are showing.

EDIT: And #6 on the Lil' Pigeon Chaser's post.
