After the Dallas meetup I spent a few days in Houston with Joe

For Christmas, Joe got me a lensbaby!!!!!! It arrived the Monday after the Dallas meetup, so many of my pics from the rest of the week are me practicing how to use it. It really is gonna take a lot more practice, too! ...so....most of these are really nothing special, as I'd never used an LB before.

Love #1 & 5! Of the LB series #12 is my favorite. And #22 is just awesome! Great series!

The last time I was in Texas (august) with Joe, we went to Galveston to East Beach for the sunrise...it was completely amazing. Probably one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. So much so, I took around 300 pictures!!!!

...and promptly lost them all (deleted the card because I thought I'd backed them up. :S )

...so Joe suggested we go again so I can get some pictures to make up for last time. The sunrise this time wasn't nearly as spectacular as last time, but it was still pretty...and it was fun.

And now for the rest!!!!! These are all lensbaby shots...we went to the Chinese Gardens in the Houston Museum District so I could get some more practice....you may recognize the background of the shots, because we posted shots from there back in August, too. :P

Any tips on how to get better at using my LB would be greatly appreciated!!!
