mmm...vodka ice....almost wanted to drink that sculpture on the spot...and i love the TPF salute. Officially better than 'The Travelling Crew' one of Sky, Joe, Corry, etc
anyway, here's a couple more contributions
#2 - Carving
#3 - Cold much?
#4 - "Who's that curious looking fellow in alll the black?"
#5 - One might call it the 'cutting edge' of technology...a half century ago
More to come as I edit...let's get the others in here, dammit!

nice surprise to find these. i had no idea there was a TPF meet up on the go
great shots
Haha I dunno, I just had a shower now and I finally feel well enough to take off my sweater and stick it out with a t-shirt :P
Loving #4 from that set (the one two posts above mine...you posted the one other one as I typed this...), btw...we had almost identical shots of that
*side note - it's pretty 'cool' and/or 'sweet' to have someone else's images to see from the same time/place as I was at....not to mention the company of having someone else to shoot with*

Alright, time for a second installment before I head to bed...
#6 - Optimus Carve/Robocarver, whichever generation you are
#7 - Dude! It's plastic! Settle down!
#8 - Them, doing their thing...
#9 - Goofin off in a mirrow
#10 - Jenn, lining it up
#11 - Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now?
Anyway...that's it for most of my 'group' shots. Got some 'artsy fartsy' ones (a term me and anty were having a good giggle over) I'll get up tommorrow, once me and Eric stop hoggin the limelight...![]()

Here are a few snaps from the Ice sculpture portion of the day:
I liked how the buildings were reflected upside down in this part of one of the sculptures
The popular 'fireman' sculpture (this one's for you, OldFireGuy!)
Eskimo carving
We watched this guy for quite a while, fascinated by the way his face and glasses were getting totally covered with the flying ice chips

I would post mine but no-one bothered to pick me up from the Airport
great shot so far everyone, looks like a nice warm day
Gone
Wow-ie!
You had a meet-up yet again!?!?!?
More envy flowing from here to there.
You can only make it up by all coming to "my" meet-up in Germany in May 2008, you know!??!?
And then I want to see ever so many, many different photos of my boring place.
Not to say that ANY OF THESE is boring in any way !!!!!!!!!!!!
No!
Not one's boring.
They are all super-interesting.
So good to see you all in them, too, and the ice carving action and the ice sculptures and colourful photos of sunny (!) Toronto (by AIRIC, man you did find the colours, didn't you?!?!?) which look even quite warm. Whereas I do admit that many of the others show quite a bit of winter coldness... something we don't know much about any more in my part of the world![]()
Ah, I wish I could for once be part of your meet-ups with all of you!!!
Yorkville is a somewhat snooty area of the city. Here's their version of a chia pet

Silhouetted worker on the under-construction addition to the Museum
CN Tower view
Like a funhouse mirror, we all looked thin in this window reflection. So I am posting this picture, no matter how bad it is
I think this is the decoy Airic and Raymond use when getting all those great bird pictures
Catching some air in the late afternoon sunshine
