Toronto Meetup April 14, 2007

The weather cooperated today (ie it didn't rain or snow!) as a group of eight photographers gathered in Toronto to wander around and take pictures. We met at Union Station, then went to BCE Place, and passed the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Flatiron Building and the St. Lawrence Market on the way to the Distillery District. Here’s a group shot of those who made it out and braved the cold:

I LOVE that. I think if the bench was in the bottom right corner and the screen was in the top left, it would be more balanced, but I still love the idea.

A little more contrast, and saturation could make it pop a bit more:

Well, another Toronna meet has passed, and another awesome laugh filled time was had. Soooooo cool to see everyone again. The wind chill could have stayed away, but still had a blast.
This was my first time having the camera out of the bag in 5 weeks, and it felt like I was starting over.
I threw these together real quick. Might see what people shots I got.
After Union Station we headed over to the BCE place

After a quick stop for lunch, we ended up at the Distillery.



This is why I like cycling better then driving. Parking is always available.

We were not supposed to take pics in this place, but....it was too late.

On the trek back we made a few stops. The entrance to a church.


These guys were just amazing. I only managed to snap a few shots, as the heavies came and chased everyone away.

Oh man! Sorry I missed this one Looks like a great time so far. Excellent work Jeanne and Carl you are doing better then ever. Looking forward to seeing more of what I missed. Meet ups are so much fun.

Poor Suzanne! She had a run-in on the TTC before she even met up with us, then another by the St. Lawrence Market. Could have been more, but those are the ones I heard about. And she's such a sweetie, it's so hard to imagine why people get all uppity with her.

Yep, saw the trucks. Gonna post pics of mine later tonight, hopefully.
