Top shot: I just thought this little kid was too cool for this ride. He was thinking he wished it was over, because he'd really rather be driving a formula one car.

The bottom shot: I almost feel like I shouldn't have taken it. It was a terrible exposure. I have had to rescue it from deep shadow. But...

I love the composition. I love the way the arms of the two people work. I love the tenderness of mother and child. I know it's a terrible photograph, but I love it for its human warmth.
