Was over at a buddy's house helping him fab a bumper. Took my camera with.

I think trying to get a good welding shot would be tricky. A long exposure would probably make the welding look kinda cool, but it might also overexpose everything. Might be something to play with next time round. I think on the second on, you back focused slightly. Looks like his pants are sharp, but not so sharp where the actual welding is happening.

The problem I've had capturing people welding is that the arc although very bright is not a constant, think a flickering lightbulb/almost strobe effect. I believe that's why the focus seems out of whack near the arc, but if you look at the clevis directly in front of the area being welded, it looks sharp?
