Ha...this is great. Well done. The lighting on the models, especially the girl, is great. Also, the hair, makeup & wardrobe all work really well. But I do think that the location leaves a bit to be desired. Sure, it's a gym...but it feels small, dark and close. I think a shoot like this would look much better in a larger, brighter area (typical new or high end gym)...also, I think a shallower DOF would help...or at least, that's what I envision when I think of something like this appearing in a magazine etc.
There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
