New Photo, C&C Please!
I shot this picture for my Pastor's advertisement flyer for his upcoming concert. Its a live recording for his album entitled "Created for This". We wanted a setting that portrayed something like he was created for worship, and this is sort of what came to mind. I tried editing a little bit different than I normally do, so I'm interested on your initial thoughts. Please and thank you!

This is another picture we wanted while he was singing. Not sure if I like the color or black and white. Either way, how can I improve on my B&W?

For the first picture, it bugs me a little bit that the tree is out of focus. May just be a personal preference, but I would have gone with a smaller aperture and lean him against the tree.

I think the editing is pretty good, the first shot his shirt looks a tad over saturated but other than that no problems. A slightly different angle would have improved the first shot I think.
For the black and white decreasing the curve for the whites and decreasing it a bit for the blacks could help.
With your permission i could do a quick edit to show you what I mean.

Here's the edit, I changed the curves in the way I mentioned earlier, did a little burning on the edges and dodging on the face.
