picture taken with a beat up minolta z10 caught my eye though please any c&c welcome shot in black and white exposure time 1/250sec f 3.4 iso 100
window light

Honestly not muh there.
Highlights are to bright and shadows are to dark.
Try working with a little more even lighting.

window lighting tried to get it to form itself evenly and through out but it wouldn't listen

It's too soft for me. Try sharpening it a little, and maybe do a re-take without the shadows. I'd love to see a second try on this, it has potential.

Thanks I iwll try again waiting for the sun to come back out i took it with my old Minolta want to try it with D60 the next time thanks a lot for reply

I think it would have been better if you had used a simple flash fill to make the lightining even. Any how nice composition.

I like what you did, but the shadows are too dark on her face for my taste. I love the softness you created with it though. Very angelic.
But work on the highs and lows a bit more.
