    New Portrait, C&C please

    This is my first portrait posted for C&C. I took it over the weekend. It wasnt posed, i just came around the corner and she turned and smiled at me and....*snap*, got her. what do you guys think?

    I think your description of "The Making of This Photo" shows that it should be in People and Pets, much rather than in Portraits and Weddings - this is more where the pro-photogs meet who make money with their taking other people's portraits.
    So I shall move it.

    It is nice - being totally candid and unplanned. I like the soft light on her face and the many catchlights in her eyes (others don't like those many catchlights, I know, but I do, makes them sparkle).

    Nice composition! I like how she's leaning into the frame. It looks under exposed by a stop or two though. To fix in post processing, I would do a screen layer at about 70 percent
