First attempt at a portrait with studio Flash

I have got myself a set of Elinchrom D-lites to try and get into portrait photography. C&C greatly appreciated ( good or Bad )

Ops, Forgot to put that I am waiting for my background, so I improvised and used the curtains.

That second pose is very cute. I don't really like the colors of the pics though...there is kind of an orangeish cast over the whole thing.

I will post it again when I have removed the cast. Thanks for the comment.

Are you using a snoop light? The lighting could have been a little better from over the top of your model (to cast light on the top of the hair centrally), a little more light from the lower left would have been good to. I agree that the background could do with improving

Otherwise, yes, they are good shots.
