There's two type of work agency or freelance

1st If you want for agency here's my suggestions

"I am a creative professional that is inspired by music, art, and history."
is something agencies would like because tell them something about you.

What type of design agencies do you want work for?
    Does your style fit theirs?
If not make your own personal demo project for big client brand. Why?

Because show them you can do the job already.
Most design companies don't want to train someone.
That's why it makes hard for newbies because,
Agencies want someone who can do job now,
    As they have tight deadlines

You want make your portfolio more specific
If art director looking for a graphic designer for advertising work and say
"Can you give me link to your graphic advertising work"
He doesn't want see work on that page that is not relevant brand advertising.

It's like a wedding couple saying to a photographer "Can we see your wedding photos"
You send them a link to fashion photo - it's not going to make the sale -
give them what they want and you get what you want - work

    Freelance work

It's all about direct marketing again -
Know your clients and which ones you want to work for and which you don't

If I was small business wanting a freelance for my advertising

"I am a creative professional that is inspired by music, art, and history."

So what? Can he do my advertising print job?

would be better replaced with the text on your about page

    "I specialize in:
Page Layout, Photography, Print advertising, posters, t-shirt design, Logo design, etc.
I am hard working, enthusiastic, and eager to start a project, and I work to achieve the client's needs."

Client "That sound like the type of person who can do my advertising job, Great!"
